DEV1-ICHS Symphony Orchestra "In Concert"
The Graduating Class of ’72 in conjunction with the Alumnae Association will be staging two (2) fundraising concerts of the Immaculate Conception High School (ICHS) Symphony Orchestra under the patronage of world-renowned composer and violinist Dr. Shirley Thompson OBE, and the baton of Mr. Steven Woodham, OD, on Sunday, 6 November 2022 at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm at the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium, Jamaica College, Hope Rd, Kingston. The 1pm concert is being promoted for students and as a rare family event. The 5pm concert is being promoted as a” Casually elegant” affair.

Virtual tickets purchased can be used on 6th November and up until a further 45 days afterwards! You can watch at your leisure up until December 21st.

Immaculate Conception High School Alumnae Association
Immaculate Conception High School Alumnae Association was founded in 1932 and is registered as a charity under the Charities Act #CA100-1050C since 2018.
Purpose: Charitable organization that engages in activities in support of the Immaculate Conception High School, the granting of scholarships to students pursuing tertiary education and at the school.
The School Alumnae Association is committed to foster the interest of the Immaculate Conception High School by facilitating and providing forums through which the school's curriculum offerings can be reviewed, assessed, and evaluated with a view to improve the capacity of the school and the quality of education delivered. It is also committed to:
• Fostering the growth and development of the ICHS community with fellow past students
• Supporting the school and current students in the pursuit of excellence.
• Providing a platform for alumnae to keep informed and engaged with what is happening at the school and with our community as well as to support our Alma Mater through scholarship, volunteerism, and fundraising endeavours.
The ICHS Alumnae class of '72
The ICHS Alumnae class of '72 is celebrating its golden jubilee year. The 50th anniversary of our graduation .To commemorate this occasion we have planned several fundraising events which will facilitate the following:
1. Provision of funds to establish academic scholarships for deserving but financially strapped students. This has involved the creation of a scholarship Trust Fund which will be administered by the Alumnae Association.
2. Provision of funds to re-establish, refurbish and upgrade the ICHS Symphony Orchestra, providing for tuners to visit the island to tune the instruments, as well as musical scholarships for the students and for the purchase of new instruments.
