DEV1-'Summa Settinz' Free Community Summer Day Camp
Share this pageSixty 13-15 year old boys and girls from Red Hills, St. Andrew, Jamaica will have something fun and productive to do this summer!
We know many of their parents cannot afford summer school or other summer programs. So they don’t remain idle for the holidays, as a community-based, teen-focused organization, we’ve decided to host a free summer day camp which will allow them to develop their skills in sports, performing arts, self-defense and public speaking. They will also participate in motivational and career talks to help guide them.
Between now and June 30, 2022, our aim is to raise enough money to cover the cost of running the program, which includes obtaining sporting equipment, keeping them refreshed throughout the days, an official prize giving and closing ceremony and providing a modest stipend for coaches and other workers.
